Today, we celebrate the fact that A Levels have finished! We are so proud of our A Level pupils - this time of year can be so stressful, and we're so proud of how hard they've worked whilst also prioritising their wellbeing🪷. At the end of May, our Gold DofE recipient Nia went with Mr Humphreys to Buckingham Palace, where she gave a speech to thousands of young people as they celebrated achieving their Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards! Here she is with His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, who was present for her speech explaining how the DofE experience has helped to shape the person she is today. We're so proud of Nia - public speaking at Buckingham Palace is no small feat - and will post her speech soon!⁠

We're on the hunt for young football stars⚽️!

Here at Wychwood, we're proud to partner with JMFA - a modern football academy integrated into a traditional school setting that combines elite, UEFA-level coaching with flexible education pathways, so players don’t have to choose between football and their academic future.

Established in 2025, we offer two core routes: a state-funded sixth form programme for 16-18-year-olds, and a private school pathway for students aged 13-18 - both available as day and with weekly / full boarding options. Our high-performance environment delivers real match exposure, game intelligence, and player profiling, while prioritising strong academic outcomes.

With direct exposure and clear pathways into professional clubs, UK universities, US scholarships, and careers in the wider sports industry, through Wychwood School the JMFA develops complete athletes, without compromising academic attainment.
