Christmas came early for the junior boarders as they decorated the house. It was tinged with sadness though, as we had to say goodbye to our lovely Peruvian friends.

Wow! This looks so much more fun than my school! This week in psychology the UTs began looking at the stages of development, the nervous system, neurons, and different parts of the brain. Using play dough, the UTs created and labelled the different parts of the brain and neurons in a fun interactive lesson.

Wychwood does it differently! Great teachers…Great results!

Welcome to Oxford! we are delighted to be hosting a group of young people from Peru for an exchange programme. This has been facilitated by The Turing Scheme. The students are now well and truly immersed in the Wychwood experience! As well as attending lessons they have made trips to Blenheim Palace and open bus tours across Oxford !!! We are hopefully sending some of our students to Lima later next year👏🏼👏🏼

Drama helps our pupils develop a variety of creative skills including acting, improvisation, analysis, group work and communication. There are many opportunities to take part in drama from lessons to clubs, from annual form plays to school productions. LAMDA lessons are also available.

A brilliant day of all things women’s sport at the Girls Go Gold conference! Thank you and for hosting what was a truly inspiring day for our pupils!

Congratulations to all our Shell (Year 11) pupils who have excelled this year with 14% Grade 9, 42% grades 89 and 65% grades 789. We are very proud of the fantastic results they have achieved in spite of the myriad of issues over the last 3 years presented by the covid-19 pandemic.

We are delighted with the Study II A-Level results this year – with 70% of grades awarded at A*-B and 15% of those were at A*, we have maintained the level we expected pre-covid. Every girl passed every A-level retaining our 100% pass rate at A-level. The EPQ results again were excellent with 80% A* grades.
