Even though it’s only Week 5 of term, our athletes are ready to throw down some seriously fast swims and fierce racing at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield.

The Rosenblatt pool saw it's first competition of the season, with Oxford University hosting Aston University. We had some great races and good competition today, but in the end Oxford claimed victory by 18 points. Great job to everyone involved, and thank you !

Dear OUSC freshers, we hope you are feeling right at home after last week's Freshers Dinner at ! It might be getting dark, damp, and cold in Oxford, but there's no seasonal depression cure quite like sconcing your teammates and the adrenaline rush when the shoes go up 👞

Swimmers all over Oxford were busy this week as Oxford University and Oxford Brookes competed against each other in their first BUSL swim meet of the season. Despite being forced to bike up the hill for the competition--which was hosted by Brookes at Headington Rye Oxford--Oxford Uni triumphed over Brookes in a 50-28 overall victory.

We are blown away by the number of swimmers interested in joining our first Social Squad taster session.

Due to capacity restrictions, we are asking all attendees to sign up for our session on Saturday, 11th 12:00-13:00 via Eventbrite, link in bio!

 Spaces are limited, so please only attend if you receive a ticket. Mark your calendars and we'll see you there!

 If you do not manage to bag yourself a space, do not worry! Please either DM us or you can email our Social Swimming Captain ([email protected]) to inquire about other spaces later in the term. 💙💙💙

Mark your calendars, wash your towels, and find your cap and goggles--the time has come to dive into the 2025-2026 season! And we are going to make some waves 🌊👀😤

If you are interested in joining the Seconds or Blues teams, trials are this Saturday, October 11th at 9:45 am at the Rosenblatt / Iffley pool. You must register beforehand; please head to the link in our bio and get signed up! Trials entail swimming a 50m Freestyle and your choice from the following: 50m stroke, 100 IM, 200 Freestyle. Please come with a towel, suit, cap, and goggles (but if you can't find one, let us know and we can try to help).

If you want to join the Social Squad, your first practice of the year is this Saturday, October 11th at noon at the Rosenblatt / Iffley pool. There is no need to swim trials for the social squad, just come and swim!

Last weekend our Open Water Captain decided to show us how it's done 😤🫡💪🏻 Huge congrats to Pascale for winning the 1K and 3K events in her age category, finishing as the 3rd female overall in both events.
