Autumn Chemistry Conference 2024 19/09/2024

The Chemistry Outreach team is back in the Chemistry Teaching Laboratory, and are looking forward to running the Autumn Chemistry Conference tours (fully booked).

Last few in-person spaces remaining for this years' Christmas Chemistry Conference🎄 - A Quantum Christmas Robin.

We are now offering optional tours of the CTL for in-person attendees before the conference between 14:45-15:20 (last tour 15:10).

Booking is open for Balliol College’s Chemistry Taster Day taking place on Monday 15th May. This is for Year 12 students from UK state schools who are interested in studying Chemistry.

The day will include academic sessions, as well as a demonstration of an Oxford Chemistry interview. There will also be a tour of Balliol College with a chance to meet and ask questions of current Chemistry Students.

We’ve recently opened applications for an Apprentice Outreach Programme Manager to join our team in the Department of Chemistry, University of Oxford.

The role will comprise 42 months of work with the Outreach team in the Chemistry Teaching Laboratory, and will result in a Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship with Abingdon & Witney College, certified by Oxford Brookes University as a BA (Hons) Degree in Business and Management Practice.
