Today marks 100 years since the birth of J.I. (Jim) Packer.
After converting to Christianity as an undergraduate at Oxford, Packer trained for ministry at Wycliffe Hall and was ordained a priest in 1952. He went on to become one of the most recognised voices in evangelical theology, particularly through his landmark 1973 book, 'Knowing God', and his long career teaching at Regent College, Vancouver.
