I’m delighted to share my new podcast series, ¿Cómo amaneciste?, designed for intermediate Spanish learners.

The aim of the podcast is to encourage reflection in Spanish and offer a little food for thought to start the day, while also helping learners engage with authentic yet accessible language.

A huge congratulations to my tutees H (Edexcel) and R (CCEA) on their GCSE results today! 🥳 I'm delighted to share that both achieved their target grades in GCSE Spanish. It's been a joy to support them on their learning journey and they should feel incredibly proud of all their hard work 🌟

Felicidades to my tutee Catty (A-level Spanish) on her brilliant A-level results! 🤩 I have had the privilege of working with Catty since her GCSE studies and can attest not only to her exceptional work ethic, but also to the remarkable confidence she has developed in Spanish, which culminated in an A* in her speaking exam. This is an outstanding achievement 👏

Before beginning her university studies, Catty will be taking her Spanish across the water to explore South America. ¡Le deseo mucha suerte y un buen viaje! ✈️🌎

Enhorabuena to my tutee Peter (A-level Spanish) on his fantastic A-level results! 🌟 Peter has worked incredibly hard over the years and, with an A* in Spanish, is a shining example of what can be achieved with tenacity, resilience and perseverance. I wish him every success in his university studies. 🥰

Dear language learners, students, and parents,

I'm excited to share that this academic year I'll be working in South Colombian University (Neiva, Colombia) as an English Language Assistant. This is a tremendous opportunity for me, both in terms of my professional development as a teacher and my personal growth as a linguist. Cultural exchanges form a significant part of my language teaching and I'm confident that this experience will serve to enrichen my future classes as a Spanish teacher.

Whilst I'm working in Colombia, I will not be available for private tuition. As of today, *registration is now open for those interested in private language classes from June 2024 (Spanish, French, German and English as a foreign language).*

I encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible with your enquiries so that I can accommodate you upon my return. Former students who wish to continue with me and with whom I've already spoken do not need to register their interest.
