Dear Parents and Carers,

We would like to share an exciting new idea with you. We have decided to hold a trial Table-Top Second-Hand Sale at our school.

If you are having a clear-out and would like to sell your pre-loved items, you now have the opportunity to book a table in our school hall and resell them to the local community.

Tables are available for £10 each. To secure your table, please visit the school office and pay in cash.

Our first trial session will be held on Friday 19th June. If the event is successful, we hope to host a sale on the last Friday of each month from September 2026 onwards.

🦒🐒🦁 Year 1 went wild this week!

A wonderful day at Cotswold Wildlife Park filled with animal encounters, big smiles and lots of learning. We had an amazing time exploring, discovering and making memories together! 🌿✨

⚽⚽⚽The 5/6 boys played their first match in the ODST Cowley Cup at Home to St Francis. The visitors were an unknown proposition, but turned out to be a very capable outfit, defensively organised and with pace upfront. The two teams were evenly matched through the first half, with Maidi smashing the crossbar and St Francis hitting the post, before the visitors forced an own goal late in the 1st half to take the lead. Into the 2nd half, Maidi quickly fired home to equalise before lone striker Isaac gave us the lead. However, St Francis kept up the pressure, equalising through a nasty deflection, then taking the lead after skilfully slotting just past our keeper. A tough year for our 5/6 boys looked like getting even tougher, but after Noel in goal brilliantly saved a 1 on 1 to keep us in touch, there was still a chance. Cue 3 minutes of injury time and captain Rex, with a trademark run from defense, hammered home an equaliser. But they weren't done yet. With 30 seconds left, Success lofted a hopeful ball forward from a kick-in back in his own half. The power took it all the way to the opposition goalkeeper, who agonisingly turned it into his own net with seconds left of the game. It will go down as an own goal, but Success will say he meant it... a suitable end to an absolutely brilliant game of football. Luck had deserted the impressive visitors, but our boys finally had it on their side. 2 games in, and the inaugural Cowley Cup is already serving up some classics! ⚽⚽⚽
