Walker Flooring

These are just some of the pics I managed to take of the work we did last week, we will have more coming up from the customers once the work is complete in they’re home. Will look amazing when finished 😁

As flooring jobs go, this was tough! No driveway parking meant we had to uplift the old flooring and also bring in the new let alone tools, underlay and beading from quite a distance! But as you can see it was done and all ready for the happy customer to move in today 😊

And this is our therapy!! Happy Monday everyone!! Prepping 70m2 for another herringbone job, uplifting some laminate and these tiles to latex to a nice smooth finish ready for fitting Thursday 👌🏻

Very rarely do I remember to get out after shots!! I’m pleased to say that this one was worth it. Full prep involved on this one, uplift the old LVT that was fully bonded. Take up the old flooring tiles in the lounge and carpet. Full screed throughout and then the final floor fitting in LVT dryback herringbone. ENJOY 😄

We just want to give Enterprise (Oxford Botley) a shout out for the quick service in organising a van for us. Also to Noah who has sorted everything without hassle and was brilliant to deal with, so for now whilst our own van is having life saving wet belt surgery this is our new flooring wagon 💪🏻👌🏻

So after nearly going into the back of a lorry due to our brakes failing we’ve had to call in the old trusty Range Rover!! This car is one amazing work horse, not its intended use but yet again it’s getting us out of a situation. The dark side of a tradesman’s life is all the costs that aren’t seen. Just another bump in the road and more importantly we’re still here 😆 have a great day and stay safe 🫡

When people talk about “oh my jobs so rewarding” yeah we agree the majority of the time but there’s also times where it’s not so much 😁

So today we (I as I’ve lost my right hand man to the father in law) will be putting this lovely new LVT herringbone floor down. Roughly 60m2 to do so a lot of work!! On that note, wish me luck and see you soon with the finished floor.

Can’t beat a bit of Sunday prep!! Finishing off tomorrow ready to fit a stunning oak engineered floor on Tuesday. Sometimes you need to be flexible for the customers as clearly the size and amount of furniture is impossible to clear all at once. Pictures to follow of the finished floor. Happy Sunday everyone 👌🏻
