This page introduces the writings of seven Oxford Inklings & Linklings to the innocent.

The objective of Get an Inkling is to be a comprehensive source of conveniently organized information on the seven Oxford Inklings and their writings. Further, we work to present the writings of the Inklings to high school students and teachers. We also translate the writings and publications of the Inklings into various languages. Future plans include the creation of scholarships for student and teacher research and application of their (Inkling) work within school curriculums.

HOBBITS IN PURGATORY
Should anyone be at ICMS 2025 in May (International Congress on Medieval Studies), please come, via zoom, to the Early Proverb Society session on May 9th. I will be speaking on proverbs in Dorothy L. Sayers’ translation of Dante’s Purgatorio with respect to JRR Tolkien’s LOTR. The talk is titled: Hobbits in Purgatory. Should be a lively session.

Welcome, everyone, to my author and editor's page, where I will post news about August Academic Press, Inc., SONNET, a journal of poetry, and DLS, American Journal of Sayers Studies. I may also include poems that I've written over the years, as well as my published papers and articles - some book news as well.
