Do you have a passion to perform? Have you performed in your school/ college show? Then a place on our week-long Autumn course could be for you! You’ll spend the week working alongside top industry professionals. This intensive course is driven by an inspiring team of creatives - director/ musical director and choreographer – who will work with you every day to enable you to experience life as a performing arts student and to find out more about yourself and your ambitions. The course will combine morning lessons in technique in all three Musical Theatre disciplines - singing, acting and dancing - with afternoon sessions, which bring all three disciplines together by working on scenes and numbers from a musical. Morning lessons will have a maximum of ten students per class. At the end of the week, parents will be invited to come and watch a demonstration of the students’ work. They will show short pieces from their morning lessons and then will perform scenes and numbers from the musical they will have studied in the afternoon sessions. The students will write a journal at the end of each day, showing what they have learned that day and how they will incorporate it into the following day’s rehearsal. There will also be a Question & Answer session after the demonstration on the last day, covering all aspects of the theatre profession, including individual feedback.
