What were the main legislative trends in Russia since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine? Has Putin’s regime completed its transformation into a totalitarian system? Ekaterina Schulmann is a Russian political scientist, lecturer, columnist, and Robert Bosch Academy fellow. She specialises in legislative processes in Russia, parliamentary systems, and hybrid political regimes. She is the author of Legislation as a Political Process and Practical Politology: a guide to the contact with realityand a co-author of The New Autocracy: Information, Politics, and Policy in Putin’s Russia.
