Back at HQ, reflecting on the tremendous success of the Global Anti Scam Summit (GASS London) and the Fraud and Scams Symposium held in London last week. Big thanks to Global Anti Scam Alliance. With over 1,000 attendees and a strong online presence, the event brought together government officials, law enforcement agencies, industry leaders, and cybersecurity experts to tackle the growing threat of online fraud.

A major highlight was the Rt Hon Lord Sir David Hanson, the UK’s first dedicated Minister for Fraud, announcing the UK’s National Fraud Strategy. Additionally, Baroness Jones, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Future Digital Economy and Online Safety, referenced the Global Signal Exchange as a key industry initiative in reducing scams.

There was a real buzz around the Global Signal Exchange, with many discussions on how it can enhance transparency in cybercrime activity and support collaborative fraud prevention efforts. The momentum from this summit is a testament to the collective commitment to fighting online fraud, and we’re excited about the next steps in strengthening global defences against scams.
