We want to say a massive thank you to Kelly Jackson Memorial Fund for the generous donation which meant we could hire South Oxfordshire Adventure Playground for 3 evenings this Summer for our young members . We have loved the space, enjoyed seeing friends and this week even toasting marshmallows!
Without this generous donation we would have struggled to make this happen.

Bike maintenance at club tonight
If anyone is getting rid of an under the counter fridge freezer please let me know as Kennington Youth Club need a new one as not working properly ☺️
Last night a new senior serenaded us at the end of the night with a piece they're learning.
Feedback from a parent after last night's session:
'The compliments activity was such a perfect boost for my daughter tonight as she had had a bad week. Thank you.'

Tonight, Juniors were left with a load of equipment and a chance to create a new game. As its National Compliments Day we took the chance to do an activity where we wrote nice things about each member of the group to take home with us.
Our Seniors meanwhile took charge of the stock check for tuck and ordered the new food and drink for delivery before discussing appropriate language, the damage it causes to lives, and how posting things on social media always stays there even when deleted. We had time for 1:1 mentoring too.
Plus, thanks to a new regular parent helper, the Wii is back up and running and was in use by both groups. Welcome to our new members tonight. Great meeting you.
