Trinity throwback ๐๐
A glimpse of students at Catz...back when we were the Delegacy of Unattached Students!
Pictured in Trinity Term 1920, almost 106 years ago and although less diverse, they had the same determination, and the very same Trinityโterm pressure!
To everyone embarking upon Trinity assessments and exams: youโve got this. Remember youโre part of a long line of students whoโve been right where you are, and made it through!๐ฟโจ
The Library is here to support your studies! ๐

Today weโre looking back at our Library, captured here under construction. Before the shelves, before the silence, before generations of students pored over texts within its walls, there was scaffolding, concrete, and vision.
In some ways, it feels a little familiar. With our own temporary library set-up at the moment, this photo is a reminder that even the most established reading rooms once began as works in progress. Can you spot the temporary structure in the middle of the Library under construction? ๐
Libraries are more than buildings; theyโre spaces built around the belief that books matter. This World Book Day, weโre celebrating not just the stories on the shelves, but the evolving spaces that make reading, research, and discovery possible.

๐ฆ๐ Foxes love too!
Early this morning, a very scholarly fox was seen trotting, clearly on a mission.
Was it after a quiet corner to read? ๐ง
A seminar on medieval bestiaries? ๐ฒ
Or just needed citation advice to finish an essay on earthworms? ๐
You never know who might be our next visitor! ๐ฆ
