Today, we celebrate our Year 13s! 🎉
Your hard work and commitment have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you.
This year’s results are certainly something to celebrate, with 40% of all A-Levels awarded an A*, 73% achieving A* or A 🌟
But beyond the grades, we’re celebrating the kind, curious and confident young women you have become. You leave Oxford High ready to embrace your next chapters, and we can’t wait to see where life takes you next.
We take a bow, Year 13 - today is your day, and you deserve every moment of it. 👏 The Girls' Day School Trust (GDST)

STEM stand-out moments - we're celebrating the success of our talented mathematicians.
Back in March, four of our students won the regional final of the UKMT Team Maths Challenge, beating 21 schools to secure their place in the national final in June.
The final tested every aspect of their mathematical thinking through a series of rounds which required teamwork, communication and problem-solving. We're incredibly proud that they finished 10th in the country, competing against 52 regional finalists from across the UK. What an outstanding achievement.
We can't wait to celebrate even more moments like this in the upcoming school year!

Did you know that July is South Asian Heritage Month? To celebrate, our library team has created a wonderful display of books that explore the rich history, cultures, and voices of South Asia. 📚
We're incredibly fortunate to have such an extensive library, filled with books and resources that spark curiosity and broaden perspectives. We're equally lucky to have a fantastic library team; Tilda, our librarian, has been shortlisted for the School Librarian of the Year 2026 award, which is run by the School Library Association. The award winner will be announced at a ceremony at The Story Museum, Oxford, in November 2026. Good luck Tilda!
Which book from the display would you pick up first?

Making a difference and giving back one step at a time! 🌍
Year 9’s recent MAD (Make A Difference) afternoon saw students supporting a range of fantastic charities and community initiatives across Oxford. The photos here capture one group helping to keep East Oxford looking its best with a litter pick alongside OxClean - just one of the many ways our students gave back.
As one Year 9 student said: ‘This was a very fun way of making a difference and being able to socialise with people I do not see often. I would love to do more things like this in future.’
If you'd like to find out more about how our students spend their time beyond the classroom, and discover some of our community initiatives, be sure to sign up for our Open Event on 26th September: https://oxfordhigh.gdst.net/admissions/open-days/

Memories from our recent residential trip to Amsterdam! ☝️🌷
From discovering the art of traditional cheesemaking and clog crafting at the Cheese Farm & Clog Factory to taking an interactive journey through the human body at CORPUS, our Year 8 students enjoyed a packed itinerary full of fascinating experiences, hands-on learning and plenty of fun.
As one Year 8 student reflected:
‘The trip was a fantastic experience that allowed us to learn new things, make great memories and strengthen friendships. We couldn’t be more grateful for the staff who organised the trip and accompanied the visit, making it such a memorable experience for everybody involved.’

A fascinating day at Rushall Farm. From tractor rides to soil testing, bees to crop rotation, our Year 8 students got stuck into a fascinating day towards the end of term. 🚜🌾🐝
Stepping outside the classroom, they explored the world of farming through a series of hands-on activities, discovering more about sustainable agriculture and the countryside along the way.
As two of our Year 8 students put it: ‘All these activities were so interesting and we found out so much about farming life.’
What. ✨ A. ✨ Year.
That's a wrap on another incredible school year at Oxford High School.
From the unforgettable residential trips that saw our students hit destinations across the globe, including China, Amsterdam and Normandy. To the spectacular performances, cherished school traditions and the countless moments of discovery, creativity and achievement. It's been a year to remember.
Thank you to our wonderful school community for making it so special. We hope everyone has a fantastic summer break, and we can't wait to welcome you back after the summer break for another exciting year!
If you would like to discover the magic here, we'd love to see you at our next open event in September.
