If you’re looking to become world-ready and join a supportive community that champions big and small successes. We’d love to have you visit us for our next open evening. See our collaborative sisterhood on Oct 5th, 5 pm-7 pm.

This year’s results are certainly something to celebrate, with 41% of all A-Levels awarded an A*, and 74% achieving A* or A 🌟

But beyond the grades, we celebrate young women who are kind, curious and passionate. The Oxford High effect will leave you ready to embrace your next chapters.

Did you know that every single one of our Art students achieved an A* in their 2026 A-Levels- again!

Even more impressively, seven of those students achieved full marks.

Our art and textile staff are incredibly passionate about their field, and our programme encourages students to develop their practice and explore their creativity.
All whilst building strong technical skills along the way, including composition, light, values, and colour theory, to name but a few.

If you want to meet our incredible staff, who we are so lucky to have, and see our facilities in the Ada Benson Sixth Form Building, please join us at our Open Event on 26th September.

🎉 Ms McMorrow has been shortlisted for Librarian of the year, we are so proud you and are rooting for you on the 14th of November when the winner is announced.

“I am over the moon to be shortlisted, especially in the National Year of Reading. I genuinely believe that libraries can change the world. School librarians across the country are doing crucial work at a time when literacy is in crisis, which the SLA does a wonderful job highlighting. At Oxford High School GDST, I put girls and young women at the centre of my practice, making the library a safe, empowering and playful place where they can be themselves and learn freely. I hope to show that libraries are living, shifting spaces, for events and ideas and change, and are key to equipping young people for the future. They are not only central to school communities, but can connect with the wider community in lots of exciting ways. My experience in book festivals and bookshops has been a great help bridging that gap. It is a privilege to have this role, and I am lucky to work with such joyful students in a school that supports my aims.”

Have you been watching Ride or Die – the new action-adventure comedy series on Prime? 👀

You might be interested to know that it was created and written by one of our very own OHS alumnae, Tessa Coates (Class of 2007). 🎬

After leaving Oxford High, Tessa studied Anthropology at Durham University before building a successful career in stand-up comedy.

During her time at OHS, Tessa was part of the Oxfordshire Young Enterprise Company of the Year, which created a book for 7 to 12 year olds, a sure sign of the creative career she was about to embark on.

We love seeing where our alumnae go after leaving OHS and following their diverse and fascinating career paths. Congratulations, Tessa! 👏
