Welcome to Nursery! 🎒✨

We are so excited to open our doors tomorrow Wednesday 2nd September, and welcome all our wonderful children and families!
Our rooms are all set up, the toys are ready, and our team cannot wait for a fun-filled year of learning, playing, and exploring together.
To all our new little ones taking their first steps with us—and our returning friends, we are thrilled to include you as part of the Under 5’s family.

We are thrilled to begin a new early years partnership with Ovingham & District Under 5’s to help support Reception readiness. We will be teaming up to provide the children in the nursery setting with forest school sessions alongside Reception class, classroom based learning and a steady, meaningful transition into school life.

This half term has been full of fun, creativity, and exploration!

We celebrated National Dance Like A Chicken Day by letting our little chickens burn off energy with lots of dancing and laughter. The children also enjoyed taking part in exciting egg experiments, sparking curiosity and encouraging hands-on learning.

Our pop-up hair salon proved to be a huge hit, inspiring imaginative role play and developing communication and social skills.

With spring in full bloom, we got creative using the falling blossom in our play and activities, while our spaghetti garden helped us develop important cutting and fine motor skills in a fun and engaging way.

As the weather continues to improve, we have been spending even more time outdoors, strengthening our physical development and exploring the natural environment around us. We are incredibly lucky to have such a vast green space right outside our door, providing endless opportunities for discovery, adventure, and learning through nature.
