Before half term, we enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day full of energy and smiles! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The children loved putting their skills into practice, showing great determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the afternoon. A huge well done to all of our pupils for their fantastic effort and enthusiasm! ⭐

🌿🦔 Before half term, the Year 4 children enjoyed their second Forest School session of the year. As part of their Science learning on habitats, they worked collaboratively to create homes for woodland animals using natural materials.

The children also took part in tool work, mud kitchen role play linked to their Anglo-Saxon topic, den building and digging. It was a fantastic session full of creativity, teamwork, problem-solving and outdoor learning! 🍂🌳

🌳✨ In Preschool, the children have been strengthening their fine motor skills by decorating cotton pad trees using pipettes 💧🎨

They also became little scientists as they experimented with colour mixing and discovered that ❤️ red + 💛 yellow = 🧡 orange

Year 6 had a fun-filled day today! 🎬🍿
They enjoyed films and popcorn in the morning, followed by a picnic lunch, football, and board games this afternoon. The day ended with making some mock SATs confetti! 🎉

Well done to all of our amazing Year 6 pupils — we are so proud of you all!

Year 4 had an unforgettable residential trip to York! 🏰✨ They explored York Minster, walked the historic City Walls, and became Vikings for the day at Murton Park. They also stepped back in time at the Jorvik Centre and got hands-on at DIG searching for artefacts.
The children were a real credit to the school—fantastic behaviour and full of enthusiasm, curiosity and respect throughout. A brilliant trip packed with learning, laughter and adventure!😊✨

Year 6 and Year 1 had some fantastic PE sessions today! 🙌

Our Year 6 pupils got stuck into learning the skills of cricket, showing great teamwork and enthusiasm. 🏏

Meanwhile, Year 1 have been busy developing their athletics skills, putting in lots of effort as they get ready for Sports Day! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
