Our amazing leavers. 🥰

It has been a lovely day, if a little emotional, celebrating our leavers. Thank you to all the parents who came to our assembly this morning. The children all sang, played and spoke really well. We then enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Le Petite Chateau. I think it may be nap time now!

It's our year 6 leavers assembly tomorrow. Parents of year 6 children are invited at 9am. We will have plenty of tissues at the ready. It's been 7 years, not one. It never gets any easier.

Well done to everyone who sang and played at the Rothbury Traditional Music Festival today. Everyone did really well. It was also lovely to see the school choir sing alongside Thropton Village First School and Rothbury First School choirs at the Mart. A big thank you to James Tait for all his hard work with the children and for giving them such great opportunities. It was a shame about the thundery downpours in-between the sunshine.

Here are a few pictures from Cragside on Monday. There was so much to see in the house and we walked miles around the gardens. Definitley somewhere we will need to visit again.

Another reminder. Tomorrow is Partnership PE at Bellingham. Children will need their PE kit (they can wear it or change into it if it is in school) and a coat. A spare pair of shoes and socks may be a good idea as after this evening's rain the field will be wet. We will be back in school for lunch.

We have had a great day at Cragside today. We are a little behind with all our photos, so today's pictures will be shared soon. Meanwhile, here is sports day part 1.

Just a reminder that it is our whole school trip to Cragside tomorrow. Children need to wear uniform tops, comfy trousers and sturdy shoes. They will also need to bring a coat and packed lunch.
