Don’t forget our Explorer Challenge! 🌳

You may already have seen it on our Padlet, but just in case, here’s a reminder about our 50 Things to Do as an Explorer Challenge. We hope you’ll join in, or keep going if you’ve already started!

It’s packed with fun, simple adventures you can enjoy together, at home, in the garden or out and about. There’s no rush and no right way to do it. Just pick one and give it a go.

If you haven’t already, you might like to print off the poster and pop it on the fridge, then tick each one off as you go. Children love seeing how many they’ve done.

We’d love to see what you’ve been up to. Please share your photos on Tapestry by adding an observation. It’s a great way to send us pictures and let us know which challenges your child has been busy with, and we can’t wait to celebrate their achievements with them at nursery.

Happy exploring!

Children’s brains are like sponges.

From your words, to your actions – they'll copy everything you do, including your screen use habits.

Try to be mindful of how often you use screens around your little ones.

Visit Best Start in Life for more guidance on healthy routines, screen-use limits, and better content choices.

Today we have been to the field to look at the leaves and listen to the wind. Our book of the week is The Leaf Thief where the wind steels the leaves from the trees so we watch the wind shake the trees and the leaves falling down. We meet a cat who comes to say hello and stretches out on the leaves.
