NURSERY & RECEPTION - EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE (EYFS)
It has been wonderful to welcome so many new faces to EYFS this term. The children have settled in incredibly well and it has been lovely to see them building friendships and enjoying spending time together.
The children have been busy exploring both our indoor and outdoor learning environments. They have shown great curiosity, confidence and enthusiasm as they have discovered the different activities and resources available to them.
We are so proud of how positively the children have adapted to their new surroundings. They have been learning routines, developing their independence and beginning to feel happy and secure within the setting.
We look forward to sharing more of their learning and achievements as the term progresses. Thank you for your continued support as we work together to ensure the children have a positive and enjoyable start to their EYFS journey. 💚💛

During the Year 2 to Year 3 transition sessions, the children created wonderful self portraits, using paints for the background and pastels for their portrait.
The portraits are proudly on display in the main school building.

🎉 MEET OUR NEW CATERING PARTNER... 🧑‍🍳

We are very pleased to announce, that from September 2026, we will be working with a new catering provider; abm.
All current catering staff, including Chef Richard, will continue in their roles at Woodside.
abm have a wealth of experience in delivering exciting, healthy & nutritious meals across many education settings, we’re excited to be working with them to develop our menus and the dining experience at Woodside.
