We are a non-selective independent boarding school of about 400 girls and boys from age 4 to 18, with nursery provision available. Around one third of our pupils board with us. We see ourselves very much as a family school. Indeed, just like generations of Oswestrians before them, many children and siblings will attend Oswestry School for their complete schooling - a factor which contributes so much to stability and security. Pupils also join us from other schools at different stages of their educational progress. Set in 50 acres of attractive grounds, the School overlooks the old market town of Oswestry and the broad reach of the Shropshire plain. There is easy access to the motorways of the Midlands, yet the hills and lakes of the Welsh borderland are barely a mile away. It is an ideal setting in which young people may grow and develop.
