✨Fresh Start✨

It has been great to see all our children back at school this week, with many returning full of renewed energy and enthusiasm.

Remember, if you are facing challenges that affect attendance, please reach out to our Pastoral Team. We are here to support you every step of the way.

📚School Reopens Tomorrow📚

We hope all of our students have had a fantastic summer break and have enjoyed making some great memories.

⚠️Important Reminder
Students who are timetabled to attend an Alternative Provision on Wednesdays should complete home learning tomorrow, as Alternative Provision placements will not begin until next Wednesday. Teachers will monitor engagement on this.

✨Top Tips for a Great First Day Back:

🚖 Be ready for your taxi on time
Please remember that we cannot guarantee a specific arrival time for taxis, so make sure you're ready and waiting.

⏰Set an alarm
The summer holiday sleep schedule is real! Make life easier by setting an alarm (or two) tonight.

👕 Be prepared
Get your uniform ready tonight before you go to bed. A little preparation goes a long way!

😴 Get a good night's sleep
Put those phones down a little earlier tonight! Give your brain a break from the scroll hole and make sure you're well rested and ready to learn.

🌈 New year, new start
Last year is behind us, along with any negativity, worries, mistakes, or difficult times. Tomorrow is a fresh page, a fresh opportunity, and a chance to bring your best self to school. Let's start this year with positivity, kindness, and determination💪✨

😊 Don't be afraid to ask for help
If you're feeling nervous, worried, or unsure about anything, remember that we're here to support you. Talking to someone is always a strength.

🤝 Be kind
A smile, a hello, or helping someone who looks a little nervous can make a huge difference on the first day back.

🌟 Believe in yourself
You are capable of more than you think. Set yourself a goal for this term and take it one day at a time.

We are incredibly proud of every one of our students and can't wait to see what this school year brings. See you tomorrow! 🏫✨

☀️ Summer is here - please stay safe! ☀️

With temperatures forecast to exceed 30°C over the coming days, we know many of our students will be looking to enjoy the sunshine. Please take a few moments to remind your children about staying safe.

🌊 Open water is never as safe as it looks. Rivers, lakes, canals and reservoirs can remain dangerously cold, even in hot weather. Hidden currents, deep water and submerged hazards can quickly turn a fun day into an emergency.

🔥 The hot, dry conditions also increase the risk of wildfires. Please help protect our countryside by:
🚫 Not lighting campfires or BBQs.
🚬 Fully extinguishing ci******es.
🗑️ Taking all litter home, especially glass bottles.
📞 Calling 999 immediately if you discover a fire.

🌞 Stay safe in the heat:
💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day, don’t wait until you’re thirsty.
🧴 Wear sunscreen (SPF 30+ or higher) and reapply regularly.
🧢 Wear a hat and light, loose-fitting clothing.
🌳 Stay in the shade where possible.
🚶 Avoid strenuous physical activity during the hottest part of the day.
👶 Check in on younger siblings, older relatives and vulnerable neighbours.
🚗 Never leave children, babies or pets in parked vehicles, even for a few minutes.

Let’s all enjoy the sunshine responsibly and help keep everyone safe this summer. ☀️💙
