Another outstanding exam result! This time from Distort guitar student Seth, who achieved a Merit in his Grade 5 exam.

Seth worked hard to reach this milestone and already has his sights set on the next grade.

He’s a great guitarist who consistently puts in the effort during lessons to keep progressing to the next level.

They are two of the most gifted young musicians we’ve seen at Distort, and we’re excited to see just how far their talents will take them.

Huge congratulations to all our students who passed their graded instrumental exams this year. The students who have passed their exams in 2025 are Poppy, Ayansh, Adrian, Reuben, and Tabitha. Amazing effort from all! 🏅🎉👩‍🎓👨‍🎓

We would like to also highlight Oliver who passed his Grade 8 bass and started his degree in music in September. Always a proud moment for us seeing a student pursue a career in music and Oliver is destined to achieve big things.

We are pleased to announce that we raised £715 for the Leeds Children’s Transplant Team (Part of Leeds Hospitals Charity) from the 14th September Distort gigs.

Thank you to all students, tutors, parents/carers and families who attended and supported the event and helped us raise that amount, it is much appreciated ❤️
