🌱🎃 A bumper harvest is on the way at our community allotment! 🍉🍈
Our pumpkins, honeydew melons and watermelons are growing to an amazing size and are almost ready to harvest! We’re so excited to see all our hard work paying off. 🎃🍈🍉
We’ve also been busy picking delicious tomatoes from the greenhouse, runner beans from the trellis, and some lovely fresh cucumbers. 🍅🫛🥒
It’s fantastic to see everything growing so well and for everyone to be involved in looking after the allotment and enjoying the rewards of their hard work. 💚🌿

We had a wonderful time at Sandyforth Farm after being kindly invited to enjoy some fruit picking. 🍎🍑🌿
We picked plenty of baking and eating apples, plums, figs and beetroot, and brought it all back with us. 🍏🍎🌱
We also had some expert growing tips from Charles, which we really enjoyed learning about! 🌱👨‍🌾
We peeled some of the apples and turned them into absolutely delicious homemade apple pies! 🥧😋
A big thank you to Charles and Jen for such a lovely visit and for making us feel so welcome. We really enjoyed ourselves! ❤️

🚴🌱 Challenge Complete! 🌱🚴
Our team set themselves the challenge of cycling 100 miles in one month... and absolutely smashed it by completing 186 miles! What an incredible achievement – we're so proud of everyone's hard work, determination and teamwork. 💚
So far we've raised an amazing £813.50 for our Community Allotment.
A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored and supported us.
If you still have any sponsorship money to hand in, please do so as soon as possible so we can announce our final fundraising total.

✨ What a busy week!
We kicked off the week with a fantastic LifeBeats session with Alan, enjoying music, drumming and practising our sign language. 🎶🥁
April has been busy getting involved in lots of activities, while Alex created a 3D print of his favourite character. Amy and Elizabeth enjoyed walking Beau, Elizabeth tried embroidery, our cooking group made a delicious lasagne using ingredients from the allotment, and Craig enjoyed a social trip to the pub.

Fresh from our allotment to our smoothies! 🥕🥤
Lauren picked some fresh carrots, and we blended them with fruit and other tasty ingredients to create some delicious smoothie combinations. It was great fun trying different mixes, and they all went down a treat! Perfect for keeping cool in this very hot weather! ☀️🍓🍌🌱

We had a fantastic time making delicious Japanese savoury pancakes, using fresh lettuce, carrots and spring onions picked straight from our allotment. 🥕🥬🌱
There was lots of chopping, mixing, cooking and of course, enjoying the tasty results together! 😋 A wonderful day full of fun, teamwork and fresh flavours. 😀
