This week in Robin Class 'Emerald Books' published eighteen brilliant new information books. The children enjoyed a Publishing Party to celebrate, then they wrapped up their books and took them home to give as gifts to family members. 👏👏📚📚📚
Forest Church is one of the many ways we enjoy our beautiful environment. It builds on our weekly forest school lessons and lets us share the forest with our families, friends and the community. The theme today was Shine! 💚🌳⭐️

❗People are being warned of the dangers of illegal squishy, sensory toys after hundreds of toys were pulled from Lancashire shop shelves.
In the last two weeks of May, our Trading Standards officers removed 200 non-compliant toys from shops in Lancashire.
🚸 They found fake versions of genuine toys, as well as illegal toys that look like jelly cubes and butter that could cause small children to choke.

Our Year 6 pupils had a super morning at ULAN on Thursday morning to hear the results of the FBA (Fantastic Book Awards) and to meet some of the authors. As an AMAZING bonus we also found out that we’d come second in one of the competitions (to read an extract from one of the FBA books and to add sound effects.) Our entry was sent to the author and she wrote back to us. See her comments in the pictures. A huge thanks to one of our amazing governors too who gave up her time every Wednesday for an hour to run the book club. 🥰
