Weve been taking photos of signs of Spring using these macro lenses, finding details that we wouldnt have seen before.

You could try using your phone as it is, or getting lenses like these to try yourself.

A fresh lick of paint!πŸŽ¨πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ¨

Here at Castle Head we've been creating new murals and displays throughout our centre! Scroll through to see what what's new!

Our displays show off our values, help students learn more about outdoor opportunities, and provide guidance for if they want to continue their environmental studies!

We've also added some more wildlife to our larger Castle Head Wildlife Wall!

Great to have geographers from Les Quennevais here in the Lake District, definitely more hilly than Jersey!

A visit to cathedral quarry and a summit of the old man of coniston, all whilst braving some tough weather conditions!

Castle Head is full of Wildlife 🐝🐦🐁

Take a scroll through our photos and videos and have a peek at what we've seen recently!

These animals are often part of our learning here, as pupils look at the local wildlife in our 'curious creatures' sessions.

We cheated slightly and also included a video of one of our Axolotls, Hiccup, being fed 🀫

As promised, here is a really helpful guide, created by the RSPB on how to make your very own 'Dead Hedge'!🐦

We've done the very same here at Castle Head and it's a hit with the local wildlife!
It's also a great way to use up any tree or bush trimmings!🌿🌿

Why not give it a try at home in the garden, or as a project at school!
