Baby Sensory & Hello Baby Southport and Ormskirk Baby Sensory and Hello Baby are wonderful learning and development programs for babies from birth. Sensory learning and development from birth to 13 month.

Baby Sensory classes provide hundreds of sensory development activities that are great fun for parents and babies to share in the vital first year. Baby Sensory is the only Baby Development programme with classes specifically designed for babies from birth. Baby Sensory classes provide hundreds of simple activities that are fun for babies from birth to 13 months. Our baby classes include baby activities ranging from signing to fibre optic light shows, amazing light balls, bubbles and bells; there is always something different. Many of these activities are set to our own Baby Sensory music which is available on CD, iTunes and Spotify. What is really exciting about Baby Sensory is that it is a parent and baby group where many of the sensory materials and baby activities are unique to the programme. Each class includes seven different activities each week and an exploratory play time, during which baby can enjoy our sensory play area whilst parents have the opportunity to meet. You will be delighted when you see your baby use skills that have been learned in our newborn to 6 month baby classes for the first time. Part of the WOW Group.

🫧 Why do we use bubbles at Baby Sensory? 🫧

They might look like simple little bubbles floating through the air… but for your baby, there’s SO much happening! 👀🧠✨

🫧 Visual tracking
As bubbles move, babies are encouraged to follow them with their eyes. This helps develop visual attention, tracking and eye-teaming skills.

🫧 Hand-eye coordination
As babies grow, reaching, swatting and eventually popping bubbles encourages them to coordinate what they see with their movements. 👋

🫧 Focus & concentration
Those little bubbles are fascinating! Watching them appear, move and disappear encourages babies to focus their attention and follow what is happening.

🫧 Depth perception & spatial awareness
Bubbles move towards, away from and around your baby, giving them opportunities to explore where objects are in relation to themselves and learn to transition their body weight.

🫧 Cause & effect
As babies become more mobile, reaching out and discovering they can touch or pop a bubble helps them begin to understand “I did that!” 💭

🫧 Breath control
For older babies and toddlers, blowing bubbles provides a playful way to practise taking a breath, controlling their breath and blowing gently. It supports oral-motor development and helps children explore how their breath can make something happen. 🌬️🫧

What if my baby cries?

Let me let you in on a little secret....

They probably will at some point, that's what babies do. It's their little way of telling you that they need something. It might take a little bit of time to figure out what that is but you will work them out. 😊

Baby Sensory® is for you and your baby and with class leaders that have children themselves, we fully understand what it's like to be a parent. It's not about being perfect so come exactly as you are.
