8-14 June 2026 is Carers Week.
Did you know there are around 6 million informal caregivers in the UK? Informal caregivers are people who provide care to family, friends, and other loved ones as they need help and support due to physical and/or mental health conditions.
Did you know that some of our courses include a focus on caregivers? Some staff in the department also have expertise in this area, especially when a caregiver is ill themselves.

From learning and memory to emotional wellbeing and developmental experiences, students within the Psychology with Education Perspectives programme lead independent projects that connect psychological science with meaningful educational impact.
