A brand new school year is almost here, with lots to look forward to. We can’t wait to see our returning students again and to welcome our new Year 7s as they begin their Ormskirk School journey.

Please take a moment to check the staggered start times and entrances:

Year 7 – 8.45am, Main Entrance
Years 8–11 – 11.25am, Forum Side Gate
Students in Years 8–11 will not be able to enter school before 11.25am.

Timetables will be given out on the first day. Students should bring their school bag and essential equipment. PE kits will not be needed on the first day.

Enjoy the last few days of the summer holidays. We’re really looking forward to having everyone back together and starting another brilliant year at Ormskirk School.

We still have plenty of free pre-loved uniform available - just drop us an email and we’ll help when our staff return.

🎤 We are VERY excited for the launch of our Vocal Lab sessions 🎤

After delivering these sessions across Lancashire, we are excited to get creating at Ormskirk Music Centre too 🎶

Vocal Lab is the perfect space for those who love to sing, rap, want to write their own songs, record their own songs or work with other young people to produce music 🎧

These sessions will start back on Wednesday 7th October from 6:30-7pm at Ormskirk School, as part of our Silver Membership (£30 a term) 🌟 Ages 10+

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Summer School over the last two days! ☀️

We hope you had a great time, made some new friends and got to know our school, staff and surroundings a little better.

We can’t wait to welcome you back as our new Year 7s on the 3rd September!

We can’t wait to welcome our new Year 7s for two days of fun tomorrow and Tuesday!

Please arrive via Main Reception.

✔️ Packed lunch, drink and snacks
✔️ Suitable clothing and trainers for activities
✔️ Suncream and a hat (if the sun comes back out!)
✔️ Please make sure your child knows how they’ll be getting home
✔️ Phones can be brought to school but should stay switched off in bags during the day

We’re nearly there and can’t wait to welcome everyone on Monday!

Just a few reminders before Summer School begins:

🥪 Please bring a packed lunch, drink and snack
👟 Come in comfy clothes and trainers suitable for activities
☀️ Don’t forget suncream and a hat

Please talk to your child about their plans for the end of the day, so they know whether they’re being collected, getting a public bus, walking home or heading into Ormskirk with friends.

📵 Phones will be switched off and kept safely in bags during the day.
