We would like to say a big welcome to all of our children and families, old and new as we begin the Autumn term.

We hope you all had a wonderful summer and found some time to relax and enjoy the glorious weather we were fortunate enough to have!

We have been busy beavering away over the last few weeks developing our communal sensory garden, you may spot some new large wooden garden toys (with a couple more to follow as there was a delay with one delivery) for all of the children to enjoy, which we were able to buy with the money raised at our sports day fundraiser!

We have also added new fencing to our planting / gardening/ mud kitchen area and have planted some beautiful herbs for the children to help to maintain.

The Moonbeam room has had a glow-up including brand new flooring throughout, so it is looking great for the term!

We would like to welcome our new Rainbow Room leader Hannah Brown to the team - we were lucky enough to have her a few years ago, so are delighted she is back and wish her well in her new role 🌈

We would like to welcome old and new families back to pre school ☺️. We are looking forward to the start of the new school year. Just a reminder we start on Thursday 3rd September and we are closed for first aid on Tuesday 1st September and Wednesday 2nd September. We hope you have had a lovely ☀️summer break ☀️

We were very fortunate last week to have a visit from Amanda and Lorraine from our local lifeboat service (for which they are volunteers) to talk to the children about water safety and staying safe at the seaside. It was a lovely morning, the children got to try on equipment and have a look inside one of their vehicles. Even the staff got involved in trying on equipment! We would like to thank them for taking the time to come and visit us, I’m sure you will all agree they do a fantastic job 😊

☀️Hot weather ☀️

As you are aware this week we are going to have extreme temperatures. At pre school we will be trying to keep the rooms as cool as possible with our air conditioning units and fans. Children will have access to outside shade when we think it's safe.
We will be keeping them hydrated and please remember to send your child in with sun hats and sun cream.
We will remain open while we feel we can keep the children and the staff safe.

It is parental choice if you bring your child in or not. Please be aware that circumstances may change during the day and we may need to close early.

Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe in the heat.

Sports day / summer fayre - Friday 19th June 930 - 1230

Just a reminder that we have our sports day morning on Friday! If you can please bring your child in at 915 for a 930 start (breakfast club for pre-school children will be closed). Once racing is finished, your child will come back to you and must remain with you until 1230 when we reopen for our afternoon session as normal.

Unfortunately staff will not be able to look after any unaccompanied children as they will be manning the stalls therefore if you are unable to make it (and your child normally attends on a Friday morning) please make alternative childcare arrangements on this occasion.

This is our only annual fundraiser so we cannot wait to see as many of you there to cheer on the children and enjoy the morning with us! Thank you!
