Omagh County Primary School PTFA OCP PTFA - working together to raise money to provide those extra things that make school life even

Welcome to our page, here you will find news and information from the PTA including upcoming events, plans on how to spend money raised and what you can do to help. The PTA is made up of a group of parents of children from Omagh County Primary School, (was always welcome new members) who, with the support of the school and friends of the school, aim to raise funds that will be used at the school's

discretion to provide those extra things that make school life even better for our children as they learn and play! As well as raising funds for the school, we aim to have plenty of fun and make some new friends along the way. So don’t be shy, whatever skills you have, you can help support your child/children’s school and whether you can help out on a regular basis, spare an hour here and there, or just have a great idea that we could put into practice we need you to get involved.

☀️ We hope everyone has had a lovely summer! ☀️

The holidays have flown by, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Thursday and beginning another brand-new school year together. 🎒📚

A few little reminders before we return:

🚌🍽️ Please note: There will be no school meals, school buses breakfast club or after-school provision until Tuesday 1st September.

📧 Please check school uniforms and make sure everything is ready for Thursday- shirts, ties all black school shoes and trainers.

We hope everyone enjoys the last few days of the summer holidays, and we can’t wait to see all our pupils and families again on Thursday.

Here’s to a happy and exciting new school year! ❤️🏫

🌻💛 A HUGE THANK YOU! 💛🌻

Once again, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who called out to our sunflower patch on the Ballynahatty Road and so generously donated to Cancer Fund for Children. We have been absolutely delighted and overwhelmed by the wonderful support from our school families and the wider community.

We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Reggie Alcorn, his sons Richard and Trevor, and their families for all their help and support in organising this event, and especially for so generously allowing us, as a school, to use their beautiful sunflower patch to raise funds for a charity that is very close to all our hearts. 🌻 Your kindness and generosity have made this very special fundraiser possible, and we are extremely grateful. 💛

📸 Now we’d love to see your photographs!

We would love to put together a little video celebrating the sunflower patch and all the lovely memories made there. If you took photographs during your visit, please share them with us:

Once all the donations have been collected and counted, we will share our little video along with the final amount raised for Cancer Fund for Children.

Thank you again for every visit, every photograph and every generous donation. We hope our little patch of sunflowers brought some sunshine and happiness to your day. 🌻☀️💛
