A new stained-glass window in the Guildhall to recognise the victims and survivors of Mother and Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses has been proposed by Sinn Féin Councillor Ruairi McHugh in a motion to be tabled tomorrow.

The official launch and publication of the Truth Recovery Independent Panel Report will take place on Tuesday 7th July.

We recognise that the publication of this report may bring up difficult or upsetting thoughts and emotions for those impacted by Mother & Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses and we encourage you to read the report at your own pace and to seek support if you feel it’s needed.

WAVE Trauma Centre is here to support anyone who may be impacted.
