Arlene Penny School of Dancing Arlene Penny School of Highland Dancing Hi, my name is Arlene Penny. The ‘Arlene Penny School of Dancing’ starting in 2001 and covers the Oldmeldrum area.

I have been Highland dancing at a competitive level since I was 3 years old and have always lived locally. I qualified as a UKA dance teacher in 1999 and was also successful in becoming an SOBHD adjudicator in 2004, which allows me to judge Highland dancing competitions and championships. I currently take on children from ages 3 upwards and previous dancing experience is not necessary. The classes

run on Tuesdays during school terms at the following times;

Oldmeldrum (Hoodles) from 4pm-8pm

Please ‘Like’ this page and you will receive frequent updates regarding the School and any upcoming events or promotions. We can also provide Wooden or Metal Swords for Highland Dancing and Highland Outfits that are made to order. Evie competed at Turriff show on Monday and achieved her first runner up trophy 🏆 - amazing 🤩
