Our Year 11 students are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results, marking the culmination of five years of hard work, dedication and determination. 🎓✨

Students were joined by their families and members of staff as they opened their results and celebrated their wonderful individual achievements.

We are incredibly proud of our students and everything they have achieved. We wish every one of them the very best for their future and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

🎓 GCSE Results Day – Class of 2026

We look forward to welcoming our Class of 2026 as they collect their GCSE results on Thursday, 20 August 2026.

Results can be collected between 9:30am and 11:00am in the Main Assembly Hall. Students should enter via the Student Services Entrance.

School staff and our Careers Adviser will be available throughout the morning to offer support, guidance and advice as students consider their next steps.

Congratulations to the year 9 cricket team who won the Oldham Schools Cricket Championship last week. The boys performed very well with the bat and made it thoroughly entertaining. A special mention to Max on top scoring and retiring on 52. Well done boys! Cranmer Education Trust

Nearly 200 Year 7 students spent a night sleeping under the stars near Castle Howard, North Yorkshire. It was an unforgettable trip and a chance to experience an outdoor adventure. Students took part in axe throwing, fire lighting, cooking outdoors and archery to name but a few. It was great to see so many students throw themselves into the challenge, solve problems and work as a team.

Former student Keiran O'Reilly has recently launched his new business, Fjord, in Lees. As well as employing several former students, Keiran also provided one of our current students with a week-long work experience placement.

During the placement, the student gained valuable hands-on experience and training across all aspects of the fine dining and hospitality industry, making it an invaluable opportunity to develop new skills and insights into the profession. Good luck in your new venture Cranmer Education Trust
