On Wednesday, we will welcome Mrs North from The Oak Trust into our morning assembly to launch this year’s Oak Trust Christmas Card Competition with our children.

As part of our partnership work with The Oak Trust, our children will have the opportunity to design a festive Christmas card that could be chosen to represent the Trust. We can’t wait to see the imagination and artistic talent on show across Whitegate End!

Children will hear all about the competition during Mrs North’s visit and will be bringing home further information about how to enter.

Good luck to everyone taking part. We are looking forward to seeing your wonderful designs! 🎅🎨✨

We are proud to share the results of our latest staff survey.

100% of colleagues who responded said that children are safe at Whitegate End, our school is well led and managed, and leaders are considerate of staff wellbeing.

96% said they are proud to work here, while 18 out of 19 staff who were with us in January 2025 believe the school has improved since inspection.

We know the journey never stops - and staff and family feedback will continue to shape our priorities as we work together to provide the very best for our children and families.

Thank you to the 49 families who completed our recent survey. Your feedback helps us celebrate what is working well and identify where we can continue to improve.

We are proud that:
⭐ 98% said their child is happy at Whitegate End⭐ 98% said their child feels safe⭐ 94% said their child does well at school⭐ 92% would recommend Whitegate End to another parent

We are especially grateful for the kind comments about our caring staff and strong sense of community.

We have also listened carefully to the areas where families feel we can improve further, including communication and keeping parents informed about children’s progress. These priorities will help shape our next steps.

Thank you for your trust and support. Together, we will continue to ensure every child can Belong, Be Safe and Thrive!
