Own clothes day

On Thursday 18th June 2026, we are going to be having an own clothes day.

We are asking for a chocolate donation which will be used on our tombola stall at the Summer Fair.

Disco time!

SCHOOL Disco time! 🪩

We’re looking forward to welcoming DJ Flash back to Mills Hill, where he’ll entertain the children with some of their favourite tunes, games and challenges. And yes, the all-important tuck shop will be open for the kids to get themselves some treats! You might even catch the teachers busting some moves on the dance floor…

Year 1 & 2 children from 3.30pm to 4.30pm Year 3 & 4 children from 4.45pm to 5.45pm

Entry to the disco will be through the main entrance at the front of the building. Every child attending must be accompanied by a supervising adult who is responsible for their wellbeing at the event.

Tickets are priced at £2.50 per child cash only and will be available to buy through the class teachers.

The tickets are being sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis and there are a limited number of tickets available, so please don’t delay buying one for your child if they would like to come.

We’ll have a tuck shop which will be selling drinks and snacks. This will be CASH ONLY, with £1 buying a drink, crisps and a packet of sweets/chocolate.

Our fantastic footballers attend a World Cup Festival at Oldham Athletic this morning, winning all their games and finishing top of their group. Well done, boys! 🏆

Well done to all our amazing cross country runners who took part in the last event of the season this Saturday. Special mention for Nova, finishing in 3rd place! What superstars!!!

Good luck to all our fabulous Year 6 pupils taking their SATs this week. We are so proud of each and everyone of you!

The Friends of Mills Hill Primary School Hopathon was a huge success. Not only did we have two wonderful days of fun and exercise in the glorious sunshine but we also raised a whopping £7500!!!!!! We can’t thank you enough for your incredible support.

Year 4 are loving using Lego Spike to help them develop their coding skills in computing. In this lesson, they were using simple computer codes to make a moving river ferry. Great job Year 4!
