What a brilliant week!
As my explorers & families know, part of being in my setting means getting out and about in the local area, sharing spaces and resources with other childminders & also exploring new places. We’ve had a wonderful time at the local park, and a brilliant trip to Barton Aerodrome.

It’s been a week!

A full week since the academic year ended!
Now the dust has settled, and I reflect…
How wonderful it was to wish a wave of explorers off for summer to start their new education chapter in school! What wonderful messages, cards and gifts I received: THANKYOU 🩷
I’m looking forward to seeing new faces from September and welcoming some (new & existing) back over the summer period.

It’s graduation day!!!

Lots of feelings today… bursting with pride but happy sadness that 3 of my little explorers will leave me for school!

As I prepare to say goodbye to my day time explorers as they leave for school, we’ve taken the time to revisit our favourite places.
Ones that I will also cherish. 🤍
This week, we took a trip to the local park, the airport and Baby Bear Cafe!
We did tipping and pouring (sensory play with water, pasta, rice and orzo) and then worked on our hand strength (and fine motor skills) with cutting and folding!
