Welcome to Boom Ting and Baby Boom Ting! Musical fun for babies and young children in Saddleworth. Please note Monday sessions are taking a break for the foreseeable future. Friday Sessions at St Chad's Parish Centre, Uppermill :-
Toddlers 10.15am - 11am (most suitable for 12 months to 4 years)

Our groups aim to help parents/carers and young children to have fun, sing and make music together. Se

ssions introduce children to musical instruments, singing with accompaniment, rhythm and rhymes, parachute games and more. There is no need to pre-book, just come along to a session and you will be made very welcome. Fridays 10.15 - 11.00:

This is a popular vibrant group in the heart of the village and is a happy place to start your day! It is suitable for children from around 12 months to 4 years and is regularly attended by parents, grandparents and childminders. Everybody welcome! Price: £5.00 for 1 child. Siblings £3.00
Adults free. What is Boom Ting ? Boom Ting is a fun and friendly music and singing group for young children. Some of the songs/rhymes are designed to be done with parents/carers, ideally on their knee. Others are for children to dance or join in with the actions or simply have time-out to do their own thing! How long are the sessions ? The group runs for approximately 45 minutes and no child is expected to stay still or join in for that long. Hopefully they will dip in and out but don't worry if your child is happier playing than joining in, especially at first. After they have been a few times, babies and young children start to recognise the songs, especially if they hear them at home too. Who comes to Boom Ting ? Everyone is welcome including extra adults if you need help with your child or children. We have many mums, dads, grandparents and childminders who attend regularly. There is no charge for extra adults. Do I have to sing? Don't worry, nobody is expected to sing except the group leader, but if you can join in your child will be delighted! Do I have to pre-book or pay in advance ? No, there is no need to pre-book, just pay on the day for that session. What does a BOOM TING class look like? Come & find out TODAY!

🩷 use the ramp at the back gate to get your buggy up the steps…. Then park it in the downstairs room
💙 You’ll be warmly greeted by our lovely Dom to sign in.
💜 The room is set out in a big semi circle and children are free to choose their instruments whilst we wait for everyone to arrive.
💖 Parents / Grandparents/ Carers are not expected to join in the singing… we leave that bit to class leader, Rebecca… but lots do! 🎶
🧡 We have lots of instruments for everyone to bang & shake!
❤️ Lot’s of action songs, on-knee songs to encourage bonding, props & parachutes.
💛 With regular attendance, the children understand the repetition of routine & gain a sense of mastery!
