Hear from our Year 11 students after Results Day! 🎓

Gana, Mahir, Millie and Hamzah shared their thoughts and feelings after receiving their GCSE results yesterday, reflecting on the moment they had been working towards and what comes next.

From celebrating grades they were proud of to thinking about their next steps, each student had their own story to tell.

We’re proud of all our Year 11 students and the hard work they have put in throughout their time at The Radclyffe School.

A message from our Headteacher, Mr Cregg, as we celebrate our Year 11 students and their GCSE achievements today. 🎓

“Results day is about much more than grades. Behind every result is a young person who has worked hard, faced challenges and taken another important step towards their future.”

“For some students, today marks the beginning of their next chapter at Sixth Form or college, while others are looking ahead to apprenticeships, training or employment. Whatever path they have chosen, I hope they leave us feeling proud of what they have achieved and confident about what comes next.”

“I would also like to thank our dedicated staff, who have supported, encouraged and challenged these young people throughout their five years with us. Their hard work and commitment have made a real difference to our students.”

“Finally, I would like to thank the families and wider school community who have supported our students throughout their journey. We wish every member of our Year 11 cohort the very best for the future.”

A proud Results Day for Che and his family! 🎉

With seven Grade 9s and two Grade 8s, Che has plenty to celebrate. He’ll be heading to Xaverian College to study Music, Music Technology and French, continuing to pursue his passion for music.

Che spoke about the encouragement he received from staff, while his mum reflected on how much he has grown during his time at The Radclyffe School.

“It’s been a brilliant school for him, the teachers have been so supportive of him, and he has grown from a shy young boy to an independent and thoughtful young man. I couldn’t be more proud.”

Congratulations, Che! What an achievement. 👏

Results day is a chance to celebrate our students, but also the people who have supported them along the way.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff for their hard work, encouragement and commitment throughout our students’ five years with us.

And to our families and the wider school community, thank you for the support, patience and encouragement you have given our students every step of the way. Today, we celebrate together!

Meet Lucy and her family, as they celebrate GCSE Results Day! 🎉

Lucy achieved three Grade 9s, four Grade 8s and a Grade 7, and will be heading to Crompton House Sixth Form to study Maths, Further Maths, Biology and Chemistry.

We caught up with Lucy and her parents to talk about her GCSE results, her time at The Radclyffe School and the journey that has brought her to Results Day.

Her parents shared how proud they are of Lucy, and spoke highly of the staff and the extra revision sessions held at lunchtimes, before and after school and during the holidays.

“We’re immensely proud of Lucy, she’s done absolutely amazing.”

What a morning! 🎉

After five years at The Radclyffe School, today our Year 11 students finally got to open their GCSE results.

There have been five years of lessons, friendships, challenges, achievements, laughter and plenty of hard work along the way. Today is a chance to pause and celebrate just how far they have come.

We are proud of our students and everything they have achieved. More importantly, we are proud of the young people they have become.

Now it is time for the next chapter. Whether that means college, an apprenticeship, training or something completely different, we wish every one of them the very best.

Well done, Year 11! 👏

I love Oldham
