Some of our Easter crafts and activities.

On Tuesday we visited Born Explorers Forest School and had an amazing time! The sun shone and it was lovely and warm. It was wonderful to get outside and make new friends at this amazing setting.

St Patrick's day is culturally important for several of our families so we like to celebrate it at the setting.
We sang songs, read and listened to stories and took books home too share with our families. We painted, crafted and drew. And we used some lovely open ended toys and did activities using our fine motor skills.
We learned a lot about Ireland!

We made beautiful presents and cards for our mummies to enjoy.

The most important thing you can do is read to your child.

We were a bit late with this.
I was away last week. So we caught up today.

We celebrated Chinese New Year with fine motor skills activities, stories, information books, crafts and colouring.
We also a chinese lunch of sweet and sour chicken with rice.

Valentines day! We read stories, painted, drew and stuck to make lovely crafts for mummy and daddy.

We did some Scottish activities to Celebrate Burn's night. We sang Scottish Nursery Rhymes ("Oh ye Cannae Throw Yer Grannie off a Bus" was a favourite) and read stories about Scottish Characters and learned about Scottish Animals.

We've been thinking about winter and cold places. Hopefully it'll warm up soon!

Merry Christmas everyone! I'm closed for a well deserved break until Wednesday January 7th.
We've new friends joining us in the new year for lots of adventures.
