It seems like an awfully long time since I posted an update on Debbie's work on the Norse Cloak of Myth.

With everything else that has been going on the ten year mark has passed us by but the embroidery is now approaching completion.

The intention was to create a visual prop that could be used for storytelling in schools. A map of the mythic worlds of the Norse.

In parallel to this we are busy developing the material and resources we will use for those storytelling workshops as well.

It is only when I hang this up to photograph it that I really get the chance to see it in it's entirety. To give you some sense of scale you are looking at 5 feet from side to side and top to bottom the same.

I usually only get to see the small patch that Debs is working on at any time. A tiny picture like this really doesn't do it any justice.
