Thank you to our lovely Business Support Officer, Catherine, who organised a Macmillan Coffee Morning today for staff at Oldham Lifelong Learning and Library. Thanks to all the staff who helped make it a success. From cake donations to generous contributions, together we raised £105.34 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Induction Week 2026

What a fantastic start to the year at Oldham Lifelong Learning..

During Induction Week, our new learners explored the support available to help them succeed, learned about keeping safe, developed their digital and online safety skills, discovered career progression opportunities, and found out what it means to be part of the Oldham Lifelong Learning community. Learners also had the opportunity to connect with our library services and meet the teams who will support them throughout their learning journey.

Here's to a successful year of learning, growth and new opportunities. We are looking forward to seeing you all for the start of your courses next week.

Congratulations to our Level 2 Teaching Assistant learners who achieved their qualification this summer!

National Online Learning Day

Way Forward 2026

A fantastic training week for Oldham Lifelong Learning staff this week. It was lovely to see everyone back together after the summer break. There are lots of exciting courses and opportunities happening this academic year.
