A digital skills learner wanted to share their experience:
"I want to express my deepest gratitude to Oldham Lifelong Learning for everything they have taught me. Because of Oldham Lifelong Learning, I am now thriving. All the knowledge I once thought was impossible to learn is now part of my daily life. I also owe a huge debt of gratitude to Habib Ali my ICT tutor for his brilliant tutoring methods. Habib was so patient, he was willing to repeat instructions as many time as I needed, he allowed me to make mistakes. When I was lacking confidence his encouragement and support motivated me to learn more and gave me so much determination".

Congratulations to our Level 2 Teaching Assistants.
Congratulations to our learners who have successfully completed the ‘Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning’. This nationally recognised qualification equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills needed to begin a career as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or Learning Support Assistant (LSA).
Their achievements and progression have been outstanding with one learner securing a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant position, one has progressed to a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship, and another has gained employment at the school where she completed her placement and will begin her role as a Teaching Assistant in September. These are fantastic outcomes for an exceptional group of learners. We are incredibly proud of their success and wish them every happiness and success in their future.
Congratulations and good luck to you all!

A double celebration!
Look at this amazing cake gifted to Habib, one of our ICT tutors, by one of our wonderful learners, Khalida, on behalf of the whole Digital Skills class.
It was actually Khalida’s birthday and she generously brought in this beautiful cake to celebrate her special day with her classmates and thank her tutor. The icing says it all: "Thank you for being an inspirational tutor & mentor."
We love seeing our learners support each other, celebrate their achievements, and show appreciation for our dedicated teaching staff.
Happy Birthday, Khalida, amazing work during your Digital Skills course and we look forward to seeing you all next academic year.
