The fruit and veg are coming on nicely. I do think we have got a tomato plant in the basil. Little man’s school is shut tomorrow so I’ve got an extra pair of hand if the weather is nice enough. We are going to pot some on. I’m slightly nervous 😬. This could go very well or horribly wrong 🤣

Suncream and sun hats

Please can we ask that all children have suncream applied before they attend Red Robin. This is to make sure they have full body coverage as it can be applied before they get dressed.

Please can children also bring a sun hat

It’s been so nice to get most of the day outside most of the day. It’s just been free play. Water play (cleaning the table😁), lunch outside I’ve moved the strawberries and chives outside to get them some sun in a last bid to help them grow.

I don’t normally take pictures at star tree it can be quite busy and can be awkward to not get other children in the picture. I managed to get a few yesterday. I have tried to get a bit arty with the pictures I’m not sure if it worked.

Lovely morning spent at Alexander Park. Playing on the park, having a walk around the lakes and seeing the ducks, we even got a chance for a little picnic.

Thursday we didn’t make star tree so we had our own messy fun making scented slime (it’s more or a play dough texture) with cornflour and apple conditioner.

If there are any dad’s struggling for things to do with the little ones to give mum a break. There is a dads only session on Saturday mornings at The Star Tree Studio where we go on a Thursday. It’s a lovely session and it’s a chance to maybe try something you might not think of with the little ones.

Fridays fun we planted some chives and watered the strawberries. Also some messy fun finding numbers in cornflour. Then we added water to make some oblex which they was bored by the messy play by the time it was the correct consistency for the oblex.

We did something that’s on my todo list since Aaron was little but too scared to do it as it’s completely unknown to me . We planted some strawberries. With the help of Ollie on his last day at home.
