I just want to share how proud I am of one of our younger potters 💛

He’s only 14 and the progress he’s made with his hand building is honestly amazing. I’ve put some photos together of him making his latest piece step by step.

He’s been coming to the studio for a while now and it’s been so lovely watching his confidence grow. He’s part of our pottery family now (and yes… we do have a soft spot for him 😊)

What I love is how much he just joins in , chatting away with the adults, having a laugh, and not thinking twice about taking the mick out of me 😂

Yesterday really made me smile… I was being pulled in all directions answering questions, and he just naturally answered questions and started helping people without even thinking.

That’s when you realise how much someone’s grown, not just in their pottery but in themselves too.

He’s now started working on a Gollum bust and I can’t wait to see how it turns out 👀

That’s us wrapped up for this term ☺️time for a little rest over Easter, and then we go again for the next 6 weeks.
