🍂 Autumn Fun This Week! 🍂

We’ve had lots of fun this week starting some of our autumnal activities! 🍁

🍂 We made cinnamon scented playdough together and had fun exploring the smell and texture. We used pinecones we had collected from the park to roll through the dough and create lots of different marks and patterns.

🛝 On Wednesday, we had a brilliant time at the play centre, climbing, exploring and burning off lots of energy!

🎨 We also created some beautiful autumn trees using red and gold paints. The children used their fingers to make the leaves, creating their own gorgeous autumn scenes. 🍁❤️💛

A lovely week full of sensory play, creativity, exploration and lots of fun! 🥰🍂✨

✨ Our first week back! ✨

What a lovely first week back after the summer holidays! 💕 We’ve had so much fun getting to know our new friends, making new friendships and helping everyone settle into our little setting. 🥰

There’s been lots of exploring, playing, sharing, chatting and, of course, plenty of laughter along the way! 🌈

Here’s to another fun filled year of adventures, learning and making lots of special memories together! ⭐️

It’s crazy how quickly a childcare journey goes ❤️

You see these little faces most days of the week, watch them grow, learn, laugh and become more independent… and before you know it, the weeks have flown by and they’re suddenly all grown up and ready to start their next adventure at preschool 🥹🎓

It’s such a privilege to be part of their journey, even if saying goodbye never gets any easier ❤️

We wish all of our little leavers of this year the very best on their new adventures at preschool and nursery. We will miss you all so much, but we can’t wait to welcome our newest little ones for lots more fun, laughter and memories to come ❤️✨

Wednesday 🍂🦔

Today we got the clay out and talked about what we could make with it. We decided to create some little hedgehogs for the garden, so the hedgehogs that visit our gardens during autumn would have some little friends! 🦔🍁

The children rolled and squashed the clay, made spikes using their fingers and forks, and pinched the ends to create little noses. As we created, we chatted all about autumn and the changes we might see at this time of year. 🍂

The bigger children decided to get extra creative, making little trinket dishes and other animals for the garden too. We loved seeing all their different ideas come to life! 🎨✨

What a lovely week we’re having! ☀️💛

We’ve had the amazing opportunity to take our activities outdoors and to eat outdoors, enjoying our lunch in the fresh air and making the most of this beautiful weather. 🌿

It’s been such a lovely way to bring even more into our conversations — talking about what we can see and hear around us, sharing stories, chatting with our friends

Sometimes it’s the simplest moments that create the best opportunities for learning, communication and making memories. 💕✨

This afternoon we had a pamper, had our nails painted and then did lots of tattoos and we had a fun time covering Sophie, Hayley and Pam in them too!😄

We’ve had such a fun first week of the holidays and done so much✨

The big ones have started doing a scrap book of the things we do each week so they can look back on it after summer has finished which we think is an excellent idea and keeps on top of their handwriting too!

Have a lovely weekend 🫶🏻

This morning we turned into little builders, stacking bricks, building walls, and working together to see just how high we could go 🧱👏

We spent the morning enjoying the garden before the little ones settled down for their naps. Then it was time for the older children to get creative and try something new… aqua squishies! 💧✨

We had so much fun designing and making our own squishies to take home – lots of creativity, concentration, and proud smiles all round 😊
