It’s almost time to say goodbye to our Year 6s.
As you leave today, we want to wish you the very best of luck on your next adventure. Be proud of everything you have achieved, believe in yourselves and never stop being kind, curious and courageous.
We are so proud of each and everyone of you and know you will go on to do amazing things. Keep smiling, work hard, and remember that you will always be a special part of our school family.
Good luck Year 6, your future is bright!

Yesterday the children that have 100% attendance this school year were rewarded and also enjoyed an ice cream from the ice cream van as an extra treat!
Well done everyone

Recently, Royton Hall Primary School celebrated 'Oldham StoryFest'. Oldham StoryFest is a brilliant opportunity for children and families to come together and enjoy the magic of books and creativity.
As part of this, we were lucky enough to be visited by the AMAZING author and illustrator, Liz Million, who led workshops for all year groups across the school.
The children had an amazing time and were even given the chance to become illustrators themselves by taking part in a live 'draw along'.

As the temperatures are forecast to be particularly high again this week, children are welcome to come to school wearing suitable non-uniform clothing.
Please ensure that your child:
* is dressed appropriately for the warm weather while remaining suitable for school
* brings a hat or cap to wear outdoors
* has sun cream applied before coming to school
* has a water bottle so they can stay hydrated throughout the day.
We will also encourage regular drinks of water and take appropriate measures to help keep the children cool and comfortable during the school day.

On Thursday, Key Stage 1 had a fantastic day out at RHS Garden Bridgewater. We were scientists and identified lots of different wild and garden plants. We enjoyed playing in the play area where we could make dens, play in the mud kitchen and climb on the trim trail. We kept ourselves as cool as possible in the heat and it didn't stop us from having a lovely day out.

Year 3&4 had an amazing trip to Ponderosa Zoo on Tuesday. The children said that their highlights were: Jumping on the bouncy pillow, being in the lemur enclosure and of course... eating lunch!!

Our Year 6 and Year 5 children put on 2 amazing shows on Tuesday. They acted their socks off, sang their hearts out and danced with lots of enthusiasm. We are so proud of how hard they have worked to put the show together!
