Class 4 have been busy preparing an exciting science experiment to investigate the effect of different liquids on tooth enamel! 🦷 Using eggshells to represent tooth enamel, we are testing liquids such as cola, water, orange juice and vinegar to see which causes the most damage and signs of decay.
Which liquid do you predict will have the biggest effect? Share your predictions below😁

Today in Forest School Class 2 listened to the story ‘Stanley’s Stick’ and thought about all the things we could make using sticks. We then made stick people, joining our sticks together using wool. It was quite tricky but we found that working in pairs helped.

Class 1 had a fun forest school session making tracking signs out of sticks and stones. We collected sticks and stones before using these to make an arrow trail for others to follow. If the arrow had a stone to the left it meant turn left and turn right for a stone on the right.

Yesterday, Class 3 had the wonderful experience of watching and playing with the Halle Orchestra, based around a World Cup theme, at the Bridgewater Hall. It was a really memorable afternoon and the children did us proud; both with their singing, playing and behaviour which was impeccable throughout the concert. Well done Class 3- we are so proud of you. Thank you Oldham Council Music Service for providing the children with this experience.

Class Two had a wonderful trip to the Bridgewater Hall this morning. We travelled by tram to Manchester which was very exciting! We listened to the Halle orchestra play some super music with a mini beast theme. We then travelled back to school on a tram and minibus . It was a brilliant morning!
