We aim to enrich the quality of life for local residents of all ages by providing educational opportunities and raising awareness of health and wellbeing. Here at CWTC we're a friendly and compassionate organisation, with an aim to support all those who need it! We focus primarily on the BAME (Black, Asian & Minority Ethic) communities, and particularly our elders, boosting awareness of dementia, diabetes, and the struggles faced when it comes to mental health. We believe in the benefits of community arts, and in the benefits to mental health that can come from simply having that connection with others, and having something to connect over. Due to COVID restrictions, we haven't been able to hold many of our usual events, but our main building is currently COVID-ready, and we are preparing to open to the public again very soon! We also provide training courses, mainly aimed at young people looking to expand their arsenal of employability and media skills. All our courses are approved by Open Awards, and we are funded by BBC's Children in Need. Please see our website for more details on this. We also have our own Online Community TV Channel and creative content organisation, CWTV, where we make professional-quality videos in our in-house production studio (please see our other page for more info, https://www.facebook.com/cwtv1 ).
