🧠 NEW MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING SUPPORT IN HAUGHTON GREEN

There’s a brand new support hub running from The Oasis in Haughton Green, with a range of free help and resources available locally.

Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind are working alongside the DWP Youth Hub to provide dedicated support for 16 to 24-year-olds looking for work. This brings employment and wellbeing support together in one place, with help around:

• Finding work, training and applications
• Mental health and wellbeing
• Building confidence and reducing anxiety around work
• Signposting to other local support and services

Importantly, the Mind team can also provide advice and signposting to people of all ages who want to find out what support and resources are available to them.

It’s good to see more services being brought directly into Haughton Green, making it easier for residents to get support closer to home.

Discovery English group have some new animals in their class!! In the book, 'The Explorer' the children have a pet Sloth named Baca. The group found descriptive words from the text to describe him and then made their own fantastic models!
