Today we spent time educating our students about the serious issue of knife crime and the impact it has on individuals, families, and communities.

With knife-related incidents becoming an increasing concern in our local area, we believe it is essential to have open, honest, and age-appropriate conversations with young people. Our session focused on the consequences of carrying a knife, making positive choices, understanding peer pressure, and knowing where to seek help and support.

We want our students to feel empowered to make safe decisions, look out for one another, and understand that carrying a weapon does not provide protection—it puts lives at risk.

Education, awareness, and communication are key to creating safer communities. We are proud of our students for their engagement, maturity, and willingness to discuss such an important topic.

Together, we can help build a future where young people feel safe, supported, and confident to choose a positive path.

What a fantastic start to the term! Our classroom has been open for its first week, and it has been a joy to see our students embracing their new environment so positively.

From day one, the children have shown great enthusiasm as they explored their new space, settled into routines, and began building relationships with their peers. It has been wonderful to watch their confidence grow as they become more familiar with the classroom and all the exciting learning opportunities it offers.

We are incredibly proud of how well everyone has adapted. The students have demonstrated resilience, curiosity, and kindness, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels valued and supported.

As the week has progressed, we have already seen the children begin to flourish in their new surroundings, developing independence, engaging in their learning, and making the space their own. We look forward to seeing their continued growth and achievements throughout the year.

After months of planning, hard work, and anticipation, we’re excited to announce that our Connect AP classroom is finally open👏🏻

This marks more than just the opening of a space it’s the beginning of a brand-new chapter for our community. A chapter filled with growth, opportunity, learning, and connection. What started as an idea has now become a place where people can come together, share knowledge, develop skills, and support one another on their journeys🙏

Our classroom represents the next step in the Connect AP story. It’s a space built with purpose, designed to inspire creativity, collaboration, and confidence. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but even more excited about where we’re going.

As we open our doors, we look forward to welcoming new faces, creating meaningful experiences, and building a thriving environment where everyone has the chance to learn, grow, and succeed. This is only the beginning, and the future has never looked brighter.
