This recognition celebrates the high-quality work placements we’ve provided to students in our development team, helping them gain 750 hours of hands-on experience in the housing sector. 🏘️

Last night Oldham College Fitness Academy students celebrated their success of completing qualifications and securing jobs in the health and fitness industry.

We were joined by our alumni students who have developed their skills in the industry and are loving their careers, plus representative employers from JD, Bionik Strength HQ, Pure Gym, and Oldham Active

University Campus Oldham were proud to sponsor the event and discuss pathways to foundation year degrees in various topics such as counselling, psychology, mental health and health care.

The STA Award in Pool Lifeguarding is designed to train learners in pool rescue, CPR techniques, first aid and dealing with poolside emergencies.

Skills you will gain from the course:

🛟 Learn the different types of casualties

🛟 Be able to demonstrate personal swimming ability

🛟 Be able to perform rescue skills

🛟 Be able to respond to and manage an emergency situation

🛟 Be able to perform spinal cord injury rescues
